At the heart of every organization are the people who pour their passion and dedication into its mission. For the Little BIG Foundation, Faith stands out as a shining example of this commitment. Since joining in February 2022, she has brought a unique blend of skills, compassion, and energy to the team, making her an invaluable part of the Foundation’s journey. Faith also has the most contagious positive outlook on everything – you cannot walk away from a conversation with her and not feel happier!

From Nursing to Nonprofits: Faith’s Inspiring Journey

Faith’s path to the Little BIG Foundation began in a different arena altogether: healthcare. With a nursing degree and two years of experience as a nurse in the Philippines, Faith grew up surrounded by medical professionals. Her sisters work as nurses abroad, embodying the spirit of care that runs deeply in her family. However, Faith’s aspirations led her to explore new opportunities beyond the hospital walls.

Before joining Little BIG, Faith worked as an Executive Assistant to Adam, CEO at EG Funds (funder of Little BIG), for three years. During her tenure, she volunteered to assist with Little BIG’s initiatives every chance she got because of her interest in the budding not for profit. Her volunteer work not only reflected her eagerness to contribute but also facilitated a seamless transition into her current role. Her move to the Foundation after the birth of her son, Noah, allowed her to blend her healthcare roots with her passion for making a broader impact.

Finding Purpose at Little BIG

For Faith, the Little BIG Foundation is more than just a workplace—it’s a community where she can thrive and help others do the same. One of her favourite aspects of her role is improving processes and enhancing operational efficiency. She finds joy in conducting interviews with hosts and building meaningful connections, as well as supporting the Foundation’s volunteer program, which she describes as a cornerstone of its mission.

Faith’s dedication goes beyond her official responsibilities. She finds immense satisfaction in small, thoughtful gestures, like sending books or flowers to community members. These random acts of kindness embody the values that make the Little BIG Foundation special.

A Memorable Milestone

One of Faith’s standout memories is her visit to the Little BIG House. Meeting the team in person, as she works remotely from the Philippines, and witnessing the organization’s impact firsthand left an indelible mark on her. It’s moments like these that reaffirm her commitment to the Foundation’s vision and inspire her to continue making a difference.

Life Beyond Work

Outside of her professional life, Faith’s world revolves around her family, especially her son, Noah. She cherishes quality time with loved ones and nurtures her creative side through hobbies like baking and watercolour painting. Recently, she discovered a new passion for Lego building, and she’s keen to explore ceramics when she finds local classes. Her diverse interests reflect her vibrant personality and zest for life that is truly infections!

As Faith continues to grow with the Little BIG Foundation, her contributions remain grounded in her passion for helping others and her drive to improve the world around her. Her story is a beautiful reminder that diverse experiences and a caring heart can create a profound impact.

Meeting our incredible volunteers and hosts, sharing coffee and conversations, and participating in events firsthand made everything feel even more meaningful. It was such a special moment to connect in real life with the people and place I support every day.
