It takes a village of people to make a community. The Little BIG Team is supported by an amazing group of hosts and volunteers who activate the Little BIG House and the communities we operate in. Working (and volunteering) for a positive cause can help you make friends, learn new skills, advance your career, and even feel happier and healthier in yourself.
Our staff and board are highly motivated to learn and grow this initiative with the support of an incredible Tribe of friends.
Sarah has a passion to improve the world around her, one community (or well-loved plant) at a time. Her years of experience in leadership, marketing and not-for-profit groups are only outweighed by the number of creative projects she currently has on the fly.
Ask Maggie about getting involved with the Little BIG House – whether it be a fun event idea or you want to join our tribe in a different capacity. Maggie loves working in the placemaking space and creating a supportive and caring community and as the oldest of 6 kids she is good at finding organisation in the chaos.
Faith, true to her name, is an optimist and a mental health advocate who has ties to the nursing profession. Having worked as an Executive Assistant for more than 8 years, she finds peace in multi-tasking and organizing. Her favorite music is the sound of ocean waves and seeks comfort in a good cuppa joe with one (or two) buttery croissants on the side.
Sam founded Sydney’s first community co-working space in Newtown (wow)! He then spent the next ten years facilitating social impact programs across three venues making sure communities get access to under-utilised space and passionate people can ‘do their thing’. Outside of work, Sam is a coffee and vintage car enthusiast.
