After years of bringing people together in the heart of Summer Hill, Flour Mill Markets is entering an exciting new chapter, one that builds on the legacy locals already love while setting the stage for a vibrant future.
From Sunday 15 March 2026, the markets have once again filled the heritage Flour Mill precinct with artisan food, handmade goods, fresh produce, and the relaxed Sunday atmosphere that has made it a favourite Inner West ritual.
This next phase will be delivered through a partnership between Blue Sky Markets, the Little BIG Foundation, and the Flour Mill Business Collective, working together to ensure the markets continue to grow while staying true to their community roots.
Flour Mill Markets has been more than just a place to shop. For many locals it has become a community tradition, a place to meet neighbours, enjoy breakfast in the sun, discover new makers, and bring life to the historic Flour Mill precinct. From fresh sourdough to vintage treasures, handmade ceramics, flowers and specialty coffee, the market has always reflected the creativity and character of the Inner West.
The new partnership aims to protect that spirit while strengthening the market’s future, ensuring it remains a welcoming and thriving gathering place for years to come.

A Partnership for the Future
The continuation of Flour Mill Markets brings together three groups who each play a role in shaping the precinct:
Blue Sky Markets
One of Australia’s most experienced market operators, Blue Sky Markets runs beloved markets across Sydney and Brisbane including Bondi, Glebe, Paddington, Rozelle and Manly. Their expertise in stallholder curation, promotion and market management will help grow the audience and ensure a high-quality experience for visitors and vendors alike.
Little BIG Foundation
Based in the Flour Mill precinct, the Little BIG Foundation focuses on strengthening community connection and social wellbeing. As the operator of the Little BIG House community hub, the Foundation has helped build a culture of belonging across the precinct and will continue supporting the markets as an important community gathering.
Flour Mill Business Collective
Made up of the local businesses that call the Flour Mill home, the Business Collective plays an important role in shaping the precinct experience, from events and marketing to advocacy and collaboration between businesses.
Together, this partnership ensures the markets remain locally connected while benefiting from professional market management and promotion.
