About the Event
We’ve all bitten our tongue when a friend asked “what do you think?” — and we’ve all given feedback that landed harder than we meant it to. Honest Feedback – Say It, For Real is a playful, interactive evening exploring why we soften the truth, dodge awkward conversations, and get defensive when someone finally tells us what they think. Through guided simulations, you’ll practise both sides of honest feedback — giving it with care, and receiving it without falling apart. It’s one of those Inner West events built around a simple idea: better conversations make for better relationships, careers, and everyday life.
Who Should Attend
This one’s for anyone who’s ever swallowed an opinion to keep the peace, or struggled to tell someone what they really needed to hear. It’s especially handy for professionals and entrepreneurs after more honest input from clients, colleagues, or customers — but really, it’s for anyone keen on building relationships based on real talk rather than nice-sounding half-truths.
