About the Event
The Firepit is a small, committed group for 12–18 year-olds who show up each week at Little BIG House, Flour Mill of Summer Hill, to work on the stuff that rarely gets taught in school — their relationship with money, quieting the inner critic, figuring out who they want to be, and how to communicate better. It’s not a class and it’s not therapy; it’s a room where teens talk as equals with others on a similar journey. Every session follows the same rhythm: a quick check-in on the past week’s wins, a deep dive into that week’s theme through conversation and activity, and a personal task to carry into the week ahead.
Who Should Attend
This is for teens aged 12–18 who are ready to take a real step forward, not just fill a seat. The Firepit is application-only, and intentionally kept small — trust is the whole point, and it’s built by keeping the group tight, consistent and genuinely safe to be honest in. It suits teens who want more than a casual hangout, and who are ready to commit to the full 8-week block.
What’s the Cost
$320 for the 8-week block. It’s also available as part of an all-inclusive bundle alongside The Side Quest Society (and Lock In) — reach out to Kevin for details if your teen’s keen on more than one program.
About the Host
Kevin Chu has spent over 10 years working with young people as a teacher, mentor, camp facilitator and workshop host, building spaces where teens can grow their confidence and sense of self.

Little BIG House sits inside the Flour Mill of Summer Hill, Inner West Sydney — a community hub known for shared workspaces, the Flour Mill Markets, and a steady calendar of community programs for locals of all ages.
