Take a tour into our Little BIG House, a welcoming space with warm communal areas, quiet rooms, and flexible facilities designed to bring people together.
Ground Floor
The ground floor is a warm and welcoming space with fixed furniture that is ready to go for your event. Some features you can expect:
- 14 seat family-style table
- Lounge and library
- Low and high seating
- Children’s play space (and toys)
- Smart TV (HDMI accessible)
- Kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle
- Disabled bathroom with baby change facility
Level One
The first floor is a blank canvas for your event with open space and flexible furniture. Please note, this floor is accessed by stairs only. Features include:
- 43 stools
- 8 chairs with backs
- 9 trestle tables
- Ceiling mounted projection
- Kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle
- 2 ambulant bathrooms
Accessibility
Accessibility is a priority at the Little BIG House, but please be aware, we are a heritage building which has limitations.
Ramp access
The ground floor is accessible by ramp at the rear. Please note: our venue does not have a ramp/lift access to Level 1. Our staircase is extra wide and has handrails on both sides. Please be sure you know which floor your event is on if accessibility is an issue.
Bathrooms and baby change facilities
The ground floor has a disabled bathroom and baby change facilities. On level 1 you will find two ambulant bathrooms.
Sound
Please also be mindful that the venue is not soundproofed and it’s likely you will hear the other event going on at the same time as yours. It’s not so bad, we are a community after all! However, if you are after a perfectly silent or private space or your are impacted by ambient noise, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate at this time.
