Private use
Due to the number of community events, we have limited number of times/space aside for private use. We recommend you enquire early (we take bookings up to 6-months in advance) and have some flexibility on the exact date and time.
About the venue
We offer a beautiful venue for your event. Some key considerations to note are:
- Capacity – Max. 50 per level at any given time, but personally we find that a bit squishy and recommend 30-35 people per level.
- Size – 196 sqm per level (noting the furniture downstairs is fixed), so it feels smaller.
- Kitchenette – includes sink, kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer. We have glassware, mugs and cutlery onsite but recommend you bring anything you need in large quantities.
Community Members
Whether you are turning 5 or it’s your 40th wedding anniversary, sometimes you need a space to get everyone together! As long as you live within our community (Inner West LGA) you can hire out the whole venue to host your next event.
Please ensure you factor in set up and pack down time into your enquiry so you have time to clean up and leave the venue as you found it.
Please note we do not hire out single levels for community private events.
Community Private Rate
$120/hour
Please include your setup and cleanup time in your enquiry. It wont be possible to let you in 15min early on the day, so factor that in now.
Business Use
When you need to get out of the office for a corporate event or training, the Little BIG House might just be what you need. We have limited availability for business private events (as we do prioritise the community groups), but we will help if we can.
Although please remember that this is a community hub, not a conference centre, therefore although we do have an AV system available for you to use, we do not offer on the day IT support. We also require you to clean up after your event and leave the venue has you found it.
Business Private Rate
$170/hour for one level, $220/hour for whole venue
