About the Event

Ever had one of those moments where the right person shows up at exactly the right time, or an idea lands just when you need it most? That’s synchronicity — and it turns out, it might be something you can actually cultivate. In this four-week workshop series, Improv for Mental Health: The Synchronicity Mindset, you’ll use the playful energy of improvisational theatre to sharpen your intuition, reduce anxiety, and become the kind of person who notices (and acts on) the meaningful coincidences already unfolding around you. Each Sunday session runs for two hours, blending improv games, mindfulness practices, and real conversations about connection — leaving you feeling lighter, more open, and genuinely excited about what life might be lining up next.

Who Should Attend

If you’ve been looking for a way to start building relationships and meeting new people without it feeling forced or awkward, this is your room. Whether you’re curious about mental health, craving more social connection, or simply after something a little different to do on a Sunday morning in Inner West Sydney — all are welcome. No acting experience needed.

About the Host

Susan Zheng is an improv teacher whose community programmes have quietly been changing how people relate to themselves and each other across Inner West Sydney. The creator of Improv for Introverts, Susan brings warmth, lived experience, and a Reiki Level 1 certification to everything she facilitates. She has a gift for making a room of strangers feel like neighbours within minutes — which, honestly, is a bit of synchronicity in itself.
