About the Event: What if talking about death could actually help you feel more alive?
Join us for Death Curious Conversations, a warm, welcoming, and thought-provoking community session that gently opens the door to a topic too often avoided: death, dying, and what it means to prepare for the inevitable.
This is not a lecture or a grief workshop — it’s a conversation. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your open heart. You’ll be invited to share (only if you feel comfortable), listen, and connect with others navigating the same questions: How do we prepare? What do we fear? What brings us peace?
Expect an honest, compassionate space where you’ll feel seen, inspired, and surprisingly uplifted.
Who Should Attend: This event is for anyone curious — no experience or “readiness” required. Whether you’re dealing with loss, exploring life’s big questions, or just interested in emotional well-being and connection, you’re welcome here.
Spaces are limited to create a safe and intimate circle, so come early and bring a friend.
What’s the Cost: Free community event – all are welcome. Register ahead to secure your place.
About the Host: Your guide for this conversation is Bec of Heartfelt Celebrancy/Marrickville Funerals.
About the Venue: Held at level 1 of the Little BIG House inside the Flour Mill of Summer Hill — a warm and inviting hub for community events, emotional well-being, and social connection in Inner West Sydney.
Check-in Reminder: Don’t Forget to Bring Your Phone!
Your phone is essential for completing the digital check-in process. It’s quick, easy, and ensures that you’re fully covered and counted.
Why is it important to check in every time you attend?
- Sustaining Free Events: Attendance data plays a key role in our funding decisions, allowing us to keep offering these services to the community at no cost.
- Insurance Coverage: If you haven’t scanned in, you aren’t covered. Checking in ensures your participation is logged and you’re protected while attending.
- Event Feedback: Your check-ins help us understand which events are well-attended, guiding us on what to prioritize and directly influencing our future planning.
