SUMMER HILL
We launched our first community space, the Little BIG House, in a residential community in Sydney’s Inner West in February 2022. Located at 16 Flour Mill Way, Summer Hill, the Little BIG House is a vibrant community hub where locals get-together and join one of the many events. Each year, an average 50 hosts and volunteers activate the venue through 90+ different community programs each month. That is 40,000 ‘Little BIG Moments’ (the little moments of interaction between event participants that would not have been possible otherwise).

NORTH ROCKS
We are thrilled to have our eye on a new location in North Rocks. A site has been identified as part of a new development in North Rocks which presents an exciting opportunity to bring this model of community connection to a new geographic residential community. We believe that the Little BIG House can be a cornerstone for both the existing residents and those moving into this development. For long-time residents, it’s a platform to engage with their evolving neighborhood, to experience value before the soil is turned. For newcomers, it’s a ready-made community, alleviating the sense of isolation often felt during transitions – a well documented key point of distress in our lives. The Little BIG Team have begun conversations with local community groups and key community leaders for their input to the plan.

Office Communities
Our office program, ‘Good Work’ engages landlords, asset owners and investors in a strategy to develop stronger communities within their buildings and reduce the loneliness of tenants by focusing on cross-business relationships. This is achieved through various activities and interventions that improve positive emotions, provide moments of cross-office interaction, support personal and/or professional growth, and contribute to a sense of meaning, fulfilment, and engagement in their day. We are currently working with numerous office communities around the country.
