About the Event: Would you rather spend your life imagining a perfect world…or building the perfect response to an imperfect one?
Inspired by the world of improv theatre, we’re bringing back one of our all-time favourite themes with an evening of ridiculous creativity and making things up as we go – especially when the story takes an unexpected turn. Which, if you think about it, is also a pretty accurate description of modern life. The reality is that life’s curveballs seem to be arriving faster than ever. Opportunities appear without warning. Plans change. Unexpected questions arise.
Through a series of warm-up games and team challenges, we’ll gradually transform self-consciousness into trust and a willingness to welcome the unknown.
This sequel will focus on activities that help you think on your feet when:
• nothing goes according to plan
• the situation shifts mid-way and you have to adapt
• you don’t know who is on your team to accomplish a mission
• too many elements are missing
• the script you’re given is wrong
• there is a mismatch between intentions and outcomes
This is for those who feel that the best version of you shows up when you have just enough time to prepare…but not enough time to hide behind preparation.
