TERMS OF AGREEMENT

The following terms apply to any Little BIG Tribe member when they are volunteering for the Little B.I.G. Foundation (LBF). By signing this form, I acknowledge and agree to be bound by and follow the terms and conditions set out herein during the course of my engagement with LBF as a volunteer.

DUTIES

I will be undertaking a volunteer position at the LBF and will perform all duties on a voluntary basis. I understand this means I will not be paid for my time or work.

I will only undertake duties which I am authorised to do and will only complete tasks as directed by the Volunteer Manager.

The LBF is not obligated to provide me with volunteer duties, and I understand the Volunteer Manager will notify me of any changes, including if my position is no longer required.

I acknowledge that LBF may terminate this agreement and my engagement as a volunteer with LBF at anytime.

CONDUCT

I am committed to upholding the values and mission of the LBF by ensuring all my actions reflect our shared commitment to creating a happier, healthier, and kinder community.

I agree to uphold the LBF’s values by ensuring that my actions and decisions are aligned with these values.

I will act with integrity, professionalism, and respect at all times, ensuring my decisions and conduct align with the standards outlined in the Volunteer Handbook and the Venue Hire Agreement.

I have been provided with, and have read, understood and agree to comply with organisational standards, as outlined in the Volunteers Handbook, the Venue Guide and the role description, as amended from time to time.

I agree to complete any required induction and volunteer training within required timeframes.

I agree to communicate regularly and promptly with the LBF staff.

BACKGROUND CHECKS

I understand that some Little BIG volunteer positions require background checks and agree to undertake required checks and renewals as needed.

I understand that if my position changes, I may be requested to complete new or additional background checks and renewals as needed.

I confirm that I have disclosed all relevant information about any past or current convictions, allegations, or investigations, and I understand my ongoing obligation to notify the Volunteer Manager if any such circumstances arise during my engagement.

CHILD SAFETY

I will abide by all laws relating to child safety and I’m committed to creating a safe culture by taking action to protect and promote the wellbeing of children and young people.

I understand that some positions require Working With Children Checks (WWCC) and agree to obtain the check if required.

SAFETY AND INSURANCE

I understand that as a volunteer I will not be covered by Workers Compensation Insurance and will be covered under the LBF’s Personal Accident Insurance (Voluntary Workers).

If I become aware of any health and safety issues/incidents or potential hazards, I will report this to the Volunteer Manager no later than on the day it occurred.

I agree to provide adequate information to the Volunteer Manager relating to any existing health conditions which could impact my position.

If I am injured during my volunteer duties, I will notify the Volunteer Manager and complete an incident report as soon as practicable.

I understand if use of personal property is required for my position, it must be approved by the Volunteer Manager and must comply with existing LBF policies.

I understand that I am not allowed to share my access code to the Little BIG House with anyone.

Use of personal vehicles is not covered by the LBF; I understand that the LBF recommends I have full comprehensive insurance which is my own financial responsibility.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

I will respect and protect the intellectual property owned by and licensed to the LBF.

I acknowledge and agree that all rights, interests and title to the Intellectual Property Rights provided to LBF by me, or otherwise developed by or on behalf of me in the course of performing my duties or engagement under this agreement automatically vest in LBF. If such Intellectual Property Rights do not automatically vest, I will do things required by LBF to vest such Intellectual Property Rights in LBF on demand. In this agreement, “Intellectual Property Rights” shall mean (without limitation) photos, videos, documents, reports, ideas, processes, inventions, patents, trademarks, service marks, design rights, applications for any of the foregoing, copyright, know-how, trade or business names and any other similar rights or obligations whether registrable or not in any country.

I will not disclose any confidential information relating to the LBF, even after the conclusionof my position, unless required by law or with my legal advisor.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST

I will promptly advise the Volunteer Manager of any real potential conflict of interest which may unfairly advantage me, or someone known to me, in the performance of my duties under this agreement.

MEDIA

I agree that the LBF (or a representative appointed by LBF) may take photographs and video footage of me (or, if applicable, my dependent) carrying out volunteer work and use it for the purpose of marketing and promotions of the LBG and its services.

PRIVACY NOTICE

The LBF, a not-for-profit organisation, is committed to upholding its obligations under the Privacy Act 1988. We only collect personal information we believe is reasonably necessary to provide you with the services we offer. By providing us with this personal information, you also consent to our use or disclosure of this personal information for purposes related to the services we provide. Our Privacy Policy can be found on our website: www.littlebigfoundation.org.

By reading this agreement, I acknowledge:

• I have read and understood this agreement.

• I intend to uphold the Little BIG values, communicate regularly with the LBF staff and be a positive advocate in the community.

• All personal information I have supplied is correct, current and has been supplied voluntarily. I know to notify the LBF if this personal information is no longer current or if I wish to withdraw consent for the collection and/or use of the personal information in any way.

• Any Intellectual Property Rights created by me during or for my volunteer position remains the property of the LBF.

• I will notify the LBF (via email to hello@littlebigfoundation.org) if I wish to withdraw from my volunteer position.

• I acknowledge that this agreement is executed as a deed poll in favour of the LBF.
