The Little BIG House is a place to get together. A welcoming, safe space where you can walk in to talk, meet, share stories and laugh, or sit and read a book. Connecting with our neighbours is so important in creating a happier, healthier and kinder community.
Located at 16 Flour Mill Way in Summer Hill, it really is a Little house nestled amongst the surrounding apartments, where BIG things happen. Spread across two floors its the perfect location for all types of events.
This floor is open plan so you can set up for any type of event. Roll out the yoga mat’s, present you PowerPoint or make use of the open space in any way you can imagine. Level one accessed by stairs, has a kitchenette, two bathrooms, 43 stools and 8 chairs with backs. There are trestle tables in the cupboard if needed and a ceiling mounted projection screen that you can plus your laptop into.
The ground floor is a warm and welcoming space with fixed furniture. We have ramp access at the rear and a disabled bathroom with baby change facilities. This floor has a kitchenette, a communal table seating for 14 people, couch and TV, low level seating and high stools. There are shared children toys, and a community library on this level.
