Sydney Authors Inked is a group of Sydney self-published and traditionally published authors, who do author talks and workshops at The Little Big House, Summer Hill. These are social and educational events with our next event, an interview-style one is on Sunday 18 February 2024 from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm. Authors being interviewed at this special event are – Julie Howard, President of Spill The Beans and a retired educator, and Uma Srinivasan, whose debut historical novel Etched in Gold was shortlisted by Penguin Random House for the 2023 WriteIt Fellowship and she hopes to publish it in 2024.

Come along if you enjoy reading, writing, publishing, books, authors, and socialising with like-minded people. Books will be for sale in our Book Corner.

We talk about all topics related to books, reading, writing, and publishing. You will learn about our experiences through our writing journey, how to avoid publishing mistakes, and technical stuff like Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), or how to self-publish successfully. There is information for avid readers, those wanting to support local authors and emerging authors will benefit from our experiences.
