Let’s celebrate the silly season with a good dose of creativity! Sewing day for all!

 

 

These classes have been created to form a safe space that is inclusive, disability accessible, affordable and social, whilst also learning a new skill that provides much reward. These classes are as much about learning, as they are about sharing, engaging with others and collaborative learning.

SOCIAL SEWING DAY ~ to bring in the silly season! 

There is something for everyone!

– Bring a project from home

– Start a project

– Mend or alter an existing garment

– Practise sewing techniques

– Learn new sewing techniques (all templates from previous classes will be available, including fabric!)

– Learn to sew (Beginners most welcome!)

I’ll be there hands on deck to help you all out with whichever project you decide to pursue!

The time slot for this event is 12:30-5:30pm – however do not feel you need to be there the whole time, drop ins most welcome.

Finger food and share plates will be available – you are also welcome to bring something to share however no obligations!

Machines and materials provided. or can bring your own machine! When purchasing a ticket do select the correct machine category that applies to you as I have limited machines.

In the event that you have purchased a ticket but cannot make it please let me know as soon as possible and I will pay your ticket forward to someone else.

*Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian. Carers do not need to purchase a ticket. There is a cozy lounge area for carers/guardians and others should they need to / wish to attend the class, but not actually participate in the class.
