Why – Tai Chi is a slow-moving, yin & yang form of exercise that derives its moves from self defence. The moves flow and allow time for mind and body connection. Your mind feels relaxed, calm and free while your body feels satisfied and energised. The combined feelings of both body and mind are one of natural elation and feeling centred. The moves allow for both mental and physical challenge. Some moves involve the knees gently twisting so it is necessary to take care going at your own pace. Speed is not the essence and even though the moves are slow it has great benefits for challenging your memory.
Your Teacher – Robyn Suttor is a Tai Chi Instructor trained through Dr Paul Lam’s School of Tai Chi; a Personal Trainer / Fitness Australia Level 3 Exercise Professional 006052; a Level 3 Performance Coach specialist in Sprint & Hurdles; Sprint & Athletics Coach for Canterbury Athletics Club (Child Protection – WWCO488013E) and Master Athlete continuing to compete at World Level Masters Athletics.
