Bring your family for a Sunday ride along the Greenway!
Starting at the Little Big House we will ride North along the Greenway from the Flour Mill Complex.
The ride will be completely off road with a combination of cycle paths and shared paths following the mainly complete section of the Greenway along the Hawthorn Canal (Long Cove Creek) to Iron Cove.
Pace: Easy and suitable for children who can pedal unassisted.
Distance : The return journey is about 7km and we will have a break for coffee at the UTS Rowing Club cafe before returning. If your children have difficulty with the distance there are three Light Rail stops along the journey for a safe return to the Mill. We will be back in time for you to enjoy the market and perhaps have some lunch.
Bicycles must all be roadworthy with tyres inflated, working brakes and a bell. Helmets must be worn.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
